Come to our monthly meetings which are held every second Thursday each month. Bring your rocks and minerals to have experts identify plus attend fascinating presentations. Presentations are in English but bilingual club members would be happy to translate questions.

Amherst Island Fossil Field Trip

August 6 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Amherst Island is located just south of Kingston. After a short ferry ride, turn left and take a drive around the island to the fossil location. Enjoy the unique Irish dry stone walls along the drive.

Fossils include crinoids, bryozoan, snails, corals and well over 100 million years old. It is a short walk from parking areas.

Free The ferry fee is $10.00 for most vehicles.
