Come to our monthly meetings which are held every second Thursday each month. Bring your rocks and minerals to have experts identify or exchange for other minerals plus attend fascinating presentations. Presentations are in English but bilingual club members would be happy to translate questions.

  • Miller Property Field Trip

    OVMC-organized mineral collecting trip to Miller property. Exposed calcite vein dykes bearing Apatite, Titanite, Zircon etc. can be found

  • DeWitts Corner Field Trip

    Dewitts Corners area is where a particular occurrence delivers complex Spinel crystals, often partially pseudomorphed by Corundum. A novel mineral species (Magnesiohogbomite-6N12S) has been recently discovered by Dr. Inna Lykova and colleagues at the occurrence.
